Most people are curious about her fangs. Though her fangs look dangerous none of the children who have held her have ever been bitten. As young as kindergarten and up into adulthood have enjoyed holding Rosita who actually is much 
lighter than a person might imagine. Her fangs are about 1-1 1/2 cm maybe. She has never let me measure. My theory is that this particularly docile tarantula from South America is able to sense heat; therefore, we are not good snacks. She likes her prey cold-blooded.
