I had several students in my Internet Safety classes. We talked about Cyber Bullying, see post below and how to stay safe while chatting, emailing, instant messaging, or other electronic communications. It is staggering the number of children and adults that give out personal information to complete strangers online. We talked about some of the ways you can stay safe and avoid being a victim of a crime or bullying online. Some of the comments my students wrote were that if you insist on meeting someone you only know online, take an adult with you. You will know perhaps more about their intentions if the person doesn’t show. Another group of students talked about the fact that you should never share personal information online.
